Films - Hyatt Regency Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
For the last few years, we have been incredibly lucky to travel all around the world with Hyatt Hotels - from our very first project in Malaysia, to campaigns that have taken us to India, Korea, Amsterdam, and Abu Dhabi and so many more. When an incredible General Manager we had worked with at a previous property reached out to us about his new opening in Ethiopia, we were so excited! In all of Africa we had previously only been to Morocco, and had wanted to see so much more of the continent.
Addis Ababa is an experience - the capital city is less developed than most, but is home to the African Union and there are many sites reflective of Ethiopia's growing economy and development (the country is the fastest growing economy in all of Africa). Hyatt does an incredible job of weaving in the local foods, crafts, and traditions into the hotel - with almost every hotel product from the plates in the restaurants to staff uniforms to the furniture and decor being locally sourced, and mostly handmade by African Artisans. We set out to tell that story in our films.
